Description
Meet Rhoda: Queen of Zoomies, Duchess of the Sofa
At approximately 2-years-old, Rhoda is a light brindle, beautifully striped, long-legged Lurcher with legs that go on for days and a personality that fills the whole room (and then does a victory lap around it).
Rhoda has two main hobbies:
Professional Zoomie Athlete: She can go from “calm and collected” to “olympic sprint champion” in 0.4 seconds flat. Expect spontaneous garden gallops, joyful spins, and the occasional celebratory lap just because life is exciting.
Competitive Sofa Snuggler: Once the zoomies are complete, she takes her second job very seriously. Rhoda believes the sofa is not merely furniture, it is a calling. She will lean, curl, stretch those elegant legs across your lap, and snuggle like it’s an extreme sport.
She absolutely adores people and thrives on human company. If you’re looking for a loyal shadow with a goofy streak and a heart of gold, Rhoda is ready to sign the contract (paw print pending).
On her walks, she’s a dream, she strolls beautifully on the lead, taking the world in with those bright, curious eyes. She has enjoyed some walking companions during her stay with us, but as she arrived as a stray, we sadly don’t have any history for her. Because of this, we don’t know how she would feel about sharing her home full-time with another dog.
True to her Lurcher roots, Rhoda does have a high prey drive so no small furries, please. The local squirrels have already been warned. Additionally, as we have no background history for her, she cannot be rehomed with small children.
