Description
Storm is a stunning one-year-old Belgian Malinois cross Lurcher, with a goofy personality and so much potential. This lovely boy has already shown us how bright and eager to learn he is, he picks up new training quickly and is always keen to please.
Storm is still finding the world a little overwhelming and can be nervous in new situations. He’s looking for a calm, patient home where he’ll be given the time and reassurance he needs to grow in confidence. With understanding and consistency, Storm will truly shine.
He’s currently working on his dog reactivity, and we’ve already started training to help him feel more comfortable when out and about. His new owner will need to continue this training and help him manage his emotions in a positive way. Storm will also benefit from clear boundaries and gentle structure to help him feel secure.
When it comes to playtime, Storm’s favourite thing in the world is a good game of fetch, he could chase a ball for hours if you let him! Once playtime is over, he loves nothing more than curling up on the sofa for a cuddle and believes he is the perfect lap dog.
Due to his nervous nature, Storm is looking for an adult-only home (no children under 16) where things are calm and predictable. He’ll need someone who can dedicate time to his ongoing training, give him daily mental and physical stimulation, and most importantly, shower him with love and patience.
