Timber is a lovely older Lurcher with the soul of a gentleman and a quietly goofy side that’s just starting to shine through. Though he’s in his golden years, he’s recently discovered the joy of toys and has decided that being tucked in with a blanket might just be one of life’s greatest pleasures.
He’s calm, affectionate, and enjoys the simple things—gentle walks, a comfy bed, and someone nearby to keep him company.
Timber does struggle with separation anxiety and finds it very distressing to be left alone. He’ll need someone who’s home most of the time, or who can help him gradually build his confidence with lots of patience and reassurance. He’s not demanding—just deeply devoted.
On walks, Timber can be reactive to other dogs on lead, but with slow introductions, he relaxes and can be quite content in their company. Because of this, he could potentially live with a calm, older dog, provided the match is right and introductions are done thoughtfully.
