Description
Raven is a 9-month-old German Shepherd full of promise, personality, and puppy energy. She's intelligent, playful, and goofy at times — but make no mistake, this girl needs structure and guidance to help her become the balanced adult she’s destined to be. Whilst being with us, Raven has been enjoying going on social walks with our other dogs on site however, she needs to be the only pet in the home. Raven would love a garden to be able to play around as she is most comfortable outside.
Like many young Shepherds, Raven is at that age where she enjoys testing the waters. She can be cheeky, will push her boundaries, and needs clear, consistent direction from someone who understands working or guarding breeds. Without that structure, Raven can become frustrated and may turn to destructive behaviours around the home — chewing, stealing, or generally making her own “fun” when left to her own devices.
She’s not doing this to be naughty — she’s simply a young dog with a high-drive brain and body that needs a job to do. Whether it’s structured training, working tasks, enrichment games, or simply a solid routine.
Raven is looking for a home that offers:
• Experience with German Shepherds or similar guarding breeds.
• Commitment to ongoing training, boundaries, and engagement.
• Mental stimulation as much as physical exercise.
• Patience and understanding of her age-related challenges.
With the right person, Raven has all the makings of an exceptional companion. She’s fun, intelligent, and deeply loyal — and she just needs a home that can guide her through this important phase of development.
