Description

Meet the Bug Kittens – Cricket, Firefly, Bumble & Junebug
This sweet little group arrived in our care very shy, overwhelmed, and unsure of the world. With patient socialisation and lots of gentle reassurance, they’ve begun to blossom day by day. Each one is still on their confidence-building journey, but their personalities are shining through—and it’s safe to say that every single one of our “bugs” is easily persuaded by snacks, especially licki-sticks!

Cricket – Boy
Cricket is a timid little lad who startles easily but can be won over in seconds if you happen to have a licki-stick in hand. He’s trying very hard to be brave and loves quiet encouragement. With a calm home and steady companionship, he’ll continue to flourish.

Firefly – Girl
Firefly is a delicate, shy girl who needs gentle guidance and time to understand that people can be kind. Once she gains your trust, her soft and sweet nature shines through. She will thrive in an understanding home that allows her to progress at her own pace.

Bumble – Boy
Bumble grows more confident every day. He wants to play, he wants to be brave—he just needs that extra bit of reassurance to take the leap. With patience, he is sure to become a fun, interactive companion who enjoys both playtime and affection.

Junebug – Girl
Junebug is the boldest of the bunch and the first to investigate new toys. She loves lure toys and is beginning to enjoy gentle strokes too. She’s still learning, but her playful spirit makes her a delight to be around.

The Homes They Need
The Bug Kittens are looking for homes that can offer patience, understanding, and lots of positive experiences (and treats!). They would benefit from:

- A home with a confident resident cat who can show them the ropes of day-to-day life and teach them that human attention is something to enjoy.
or
- Adoption in same-sex pairs, giving them the comfort of a sibling beside them to boost their confidence and help them continue developing their social skills.

These little bugs have come such a long way already, and with the right home, they’ll continue to blossom into loving, playful young cats.
